They did not have a car for me when I arrived and had to come back for one later. Then I was given an electric car that wouldn’t charge. When I tried calling, the phone was never answered no matter how many times I called. I ended up having to miss work to return the rental early and go with another company for car. No SUV available as reserved on arrival except the one with a HUGE crack in the windshield. No apology, no alternative offered and when we requested another car we were told it was for Uber drivers not customers. Finally was given a LOWER tier vehicle and told it would actually cost MORE. So the branch manager "reduced" it down to the higher tier rate that I had agreed to for the SUV. AGain no apologies or explanation except that it was a busy time, regardless of your reseveration. The office is literally dirty, there is no lighted signs at night and the parking lot is dark and sketchy, next door to a strip club. Would NEVER use this place again.Reviewed 12 Mar 2024

Wanted to make a change on the rental. Went to the location and they said we had to call the customer help line as they could not make the change. Called the customer help line and they said we had to go to the location as they could not make the change. We have up at that point.Reviewed 4 Jan 2024

Typical Hertz service, it's always lacking in comparison to the competition. Even with your eyes closed you can tell your're at Hertz in about 30 seconds. I reserved for five days and was on the weekly (five day) rate. Their hours would have required me to leave the car in the lot overnight on my return - obviously at my liability - not something I was willing to do. So I said I'd go with a four day rate and bring it back a day early. The guy at the counter couldn't make it work and told me I'd have to pay more for a four day rental than the five day rental 'since it was on a weekly rate to start with'. Ok, so I'm on a weekly rate, I get that, and was only renting it five days. Fine, I'll just keep it the full week and bring it back then. He wanted to charge me more to do that. So I couldn't shorten my rental because I was 'on the weekly rate' and I couldn't keep if the full week but was on the weekly rate. You have a flaw . I cancelled my reservation , went 300 yards down the road to the competition and got a car for the days I needed it at the same rate Hertz's system was charging me for the week . Even though there was only one person working at the time, he was really quick/efficient and very courteous! When he went outside with the customer before me he made sure to tell me he would be with me very shortly, and he was. The whole process of getting the car was smooth and way easier than I thought it would be (I had never rented a car before)! It was an all-around great experience!Reviewed 23 Oct 2022

Pick up was Great, Hertz closed at 530pm and return time was at 8pm after hours the next day. At checkin Hertz Rep said “No problem for after hours return if closed. Just lock the car and return keys In drop box”. I return car the next at 7pm before my 8pm return time and drop keys in rental box. I few hrs later I receive an alert from my CC advising me of a Fraudulent $100 charge made by Hertz rent-a-car that was just attempted on my card. Thankfully My Bank declined the charge. Pros:We decided to rent at the airport, so I was happy that you had cars in stock.Cons:The employee at the office was fairly rude. We arrived and was told that even though we booked a van, we were not guaranteed anything that big. Basically said, just because you booked a van, you might end up with a car. The van was older and scratched up. The passenger door handle on the inside was broken. It was fairly clean inside, so I was happy about that, but the van was tired and should not be rented anymore.
