Pros:Ocean view from balcony. Direct access to beach. Friendly staffs.
Cons:It felt like this place was neglected for years. Very run down. One of the two elevators for the tower we stayed didn’t work. Everything in the room were old and dated, or rusted. Stains and hair on clean towels! The check in lobby is across a busy road from hotel rooms. Indoor parking garage floor had puddles after a light storm (go figure). The hallway from elevator to your room is not enclosed (you get wet when it rains and it was windy). And be aware of the hidden resort and parking fees which is over $40 a day.

Pros:The rooms are clean and updated. The pools, water slides, and splash park are a lot of fun with or without kids. You can walk right out onto the beach.

Pros:I liked the beach view, most of the staff was friendly and helpful. I like how all the advertising makes everything seem way better than it actually is! Room was decent but I have stayed in many hotels in the area with way better rooms, pools and dining with breakfast included for way less in the prime season as well!
Cons:Food was over priced fast food!? Ice cream shop!? With many flavors of ice cream!? More like push cart ice cream stand that's permanent. For the price you figure breakfast was included no question asked, wrong I guess I didn't pay enough because breakfast wasn't free or included! Water park? Every hotel on the street should say indoor water park if that's what they call a water park more like water gimmick! Elevators were slower than slow and hotter than hell literally hotter than hell! After 2 years of emails from these guys I finally say let's go the kids should love it but shortly after we arrived they were talking about how much better every other place we ever stayed in Myrtle Beach was than Crown Reef. Should of listened to the kids! I probably wouldn't stay again if they paid me too!

Pros:The crown reef resort was a last minute pick for myself and a group of friends. I made a great choice it had so many things to do and it was very nice. It is too far of a walking distance from the boardwalk which is the only downfall but otherwise it is great! Close to restaurants and stores though and it is only about 3 miles or a little more from the boardwalk so not too far. All the rooms are ocean front and there are so many pools.

Pros:The kids loved the amenities, and so did we. Walked from the beach to pool all day with ease. Would recommend at least a 2 night stay .
