  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Cancun flight deals.
  • Cancun only has one airport, Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is one of the busiest airports in the Caribbean. The airport is conveniently located close to the centre of Cancun, just 17.2 km away. International flights from Canada arrive at either Terminal 2 or 3.
  • If you intend to explore other areas surrounding Cancun, book a flight into Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport (MID) in Mérida in Yucatan. 327 km away from Cancun, the Mérida Airport is a good alternative option for flights from Canada.
  • Although there are plenty of direct flights from Canada to Cancun, some airlines have short layovers at airports in the U.S. Award-winning airline Air Transat is one of Canada’s top holiday airlines, it was voted the World’s Best Leisure Airline in 2018 and offers non-stop flights to Cancun.
  • If you are planning to bring your children on a flight to Cancun, then you must arrange a car seat for them. Mexican law states that children must be transported in an appropriate child restraint system in the rear seat of a vehicle.
  • Avoid flights to Cancun during the beginning of April, when Holy Week occurs, as flight prices tend to increase. This Christian celebration marks Christ’s last days with elaborate ceremonies, processions and rituals that take over many towns all across Mexico.
  • Flights to Cancun have Cancun International Airport (CUN) as the main arrival airport. Upon landing at the airport, you can connect to the city centre or your booked hotel using airport shuttles, buses, taxis, or car rentals. Airport shuttles and buses are more affordable compared to taxis and car rentals. However, taxis offer the fastest means of transport from the airport to the city centre.
  • Apart from CUN, your flight to Cancun can land at Cozumel International Airport (CZM). This airport receives, by far, a smaller number of travellers flying to Cancun compared to CUN. However, the benefit of landing at CZM is that you will take the shortest time possible to get your luggage and clear the security checks. This is because the queues at the security checkpoints and baggage claim area are always shorter.
  • Fights to Cancun are an opportunity to access other cities in Mexico, served by Cancun International Airport. Some of the cities served by CUN apart from Cancun are Isla Mujeres, Leona Vicario, and Kantunilkin. Car rentals are the most convenient means of transport available for those who want to connect from CUN to these cities.

The on-board crew were professional and friendly and made the trip feel like we were taken care of well. The gate for the flight departure changed three times...not great but not terrible. Considering it was the day of the New Jalisco Cartel mayhem, we can't really complain.

We were treated well by the staff at the airport and on board aircraft. Delay was uncontrollable due to the weather. Had to wait for another gate as we were late landing in Fort Lauderdale.

I was supose to have a carrey on incluided for each passenger and they made me paid 75$ each at the gate.

Great crew and entertaining Captain. Seats were not what we had expected based on my booking but things worked out in the end. Of course, like all airlines these days not enough leg or elbow room.

The entertainment system was down; food by purchase only; several people did not receive their luggage. No one answers at the local office or online about the luggage.

The Turkish was good . I had a problem with air Transat terrible experience for me

I did not like I have been charged for my carry on

Onward flight was okay. return from Lisbon was poor as we missed our flight due to a long line at the passport control. Air Transat made no effort to accommodate us even though we were at the passport control 40 minutes prior to the departure.

Very good. A lot better experience then I expected for an economy flight.

They were fast and I like how they used to entertainment system to play video about the safety.

Flight delayed. Connecting to night flight was stressful but made it. Jusr in time. Ran.88Flight was fine.

No seat back entertainment. And app had a hard time getting entertainment loaded.

Hopped on time for the flight only to get deplaned and delayed another 2.5 hours.

Given I (and I’m assuming most people) have both carry in and a personal item included in their fare, I find it very unfair that on neither of my flights I was able to use the overhead for my small backpack because they were completely rammed with luggage, people personal items, jackets, hats and other items. So the only item I brought in had to be stuffed under my seat while they had their leg room and sat comfortable with all of their items in the overhead. This has to stop because I was uncomfortable on both flights when I only had one smaller item that could not be checked due to its contents (medication etc). Plenty of people could have checked theirs but chose not to and then took up the space allotment for 2 people.

Flight attendants had a little attitude. Food tastes no good.

From pre boarding to flight attendant, crew and baggage handler, excellent. Didn’t lost my luggage like West jet.

Very poor. The flight was delayed from Toronto because some forget to do there job . I got to my connecting gate in San Francisco 10 minutes before the departure.but this didn’t let me board even though the flight was still there for an other 30 minutes. The the gentleman at the unite airline desk told me that they usually wait for passengers but air Canada called and told them not to we I been rerouted to Manila instead of Hong Kong . In San Francisco they mad me check in my carryon bag . I was told the it will directly go yo ho chi minn cuyt but I was told that by the Vietnams airline desk that’s not there I’m 10 hours behind my scheduled flight and looks like I I’m going without baggage. I don’t have a chance of catching ..

It was great. There were some issues prior to takeoff. The weather was poor so we had to go through deicing, and we were delayed a bit by the pilots' concern about one of the engines, but that's aviation. The pilots handled everything with aplomb, and kept us apprised

Reliable, nice crew, I fly often on that flight and I like it all.

Access to movies was rather confusing. Apart from that, I have no complaints.

I wasn’t able to book or pay for a seat and they forgot to check me in for my third flight so I spent 24 hours in Toronto waiting for another one.

I wasn’t checked in for the third leg of my flight, my bag was checked through to Dublin but when I went to the gate in Toronto they said I wasn’t on the flight and had given my seat away. I had to wait 24 hours for another flight and instead on the one I had booked it was now 2 flights.

Flight was delayed for 5hours. Food vouchers just aren’t good enough

The agents at the Kelowna YLW airport were really grumpy. Same with oversized baggage person. Staff on the plane were great.

Flight was early. That’s the only positive I can share. I paid for wifi on the flight and it didn’t allow me to use any streaming services so it was a waste of $20. West Jet also lost my ski equipment on my way to a ski vacation. They told me it would be delivered to the hotel as soon as it arrived at the airport. It was never delivered. I had to pick it up at the airport on my way home. I am completely disgusted with my experience on west jet

The window seat on the emergency row was too small. I had a different seat booked and they moved me. My seat remained open. It was very uncomfortable.

No kiosk to help pre boarding unlike other airlines, still lost the luggage despite its own crew/TSA or security tagging it, poor handling of lost luggage and possibly compensation is likely poor too.

Waited at airport from 10 am till 4 pm and no flight due to fog. Ugh.

As someone who never flies WestJet unless there is no other viable option I have to give this crew credit where credit is due. Extremely well done everyone.

After waiting in the airport from 7am (to make sure we had enough time for security), our flight was continually delayed until it was canceled. They tried to book us on a Delta flight, which we considered and even went to the Delta terminal with our luggage (which was stowed and then available once the flight was canceled (about 15 min away) but were then informed that we would need to retrieve our luggage at LaGuardia and then recheck in to Air Canada in New York, grab our luggage, and then get to the air canada terminal and re-check in. We decided against it, took our luggage into an uber home and then drive the 6.5 hours (one way) to Montreal instead.

Be careful about the bad policy and when purchasing seats

It was great to have a vegetarian meal option, but departure was delayed because they had oversold the flight. Air Canada, you’re in charge of how many tickets are sold: don’t oversell!

Very disappointed with premier lounge. Food selection very poor, both coffee machines out of order. For the price you charge for an upgrade, the seats don’t fully recline, movie selection is old. Not very good value. Asian airlines are light years ahead at a more affordable price.

Boarded late then sat on the Tarmac for 90 minutes for no reason

The seat design in the premium economy section leaves virtually no room under the seat to store a bag or purse. Other than that, it was a great flight. Arrived early.

Delayed by 5+ hours and they give a voucher for only $20 CAD which isn’t even redeemable at any place with edible food. Then took almost an hour to clean craft after it landed. And nonsensical boarding delayed even further. We didn’t leave until 1:30am….

The flight was delayed, but not for weather. We landed over 3hrs later than planned.

The stag were helpful, kind and liked the passengers. The plane was pristinely clean! Great flight!

Crowded and tight fit on Rouge. Entertainment requires your own mobile device. Small bag of pretzels is only food for 3.5 hour flight.

flair is a scam. They give the impression that they’re so cost effective with wonderful service. To cut a long story short. You end up paying so much for every little thing (even water) it all adds up to much more than some of their competitors. I’ve tried with Flair for several trips, but I’m done with them now. There’s no real benefit anymore. I would rather pay a little more and get a service that I’m comfortable with. Goodbye to Flair from me.

Their "free personal" requirement is to have your bag fit in a containment frame that is way too narrow and slender than the space under the actual plane seat (the length of my vitamin water was longer than the width of the containment frame. They had personel at the gate literally designated to hounding people's bags in the zone line up, and forcing them to measure their bag again if he felt "the bag might be too big for personal item". If your bag was too big for their scamming measurement criteria you had to fork up $110 CAD for the carry on cost ($85 at the 24hr online pre-check in). Plane had no entertainment, seats did not recline, and no complimentary snacks or drinks. Unless I have a short flight with zero bags, I won't be flying Flair ever again.

Flight attendant said bye bud. Lol peak flair right there

On time flight. Reasonably comfortable seats. Disliked having to pay for refreshment and snacks.

Very bead I am going to Vancouver to toronto. Not boarding receive. Before flight ✈️ time I have to take boarding. Boarding manager asking me pay $89 . Just flight ✈️ time before I pay .after provided the Boarding pass. Flair Airlines management not good. But kayak is best application.

Not good Even after I made my booking, I was charged $90 for my boarding pass. I have collected boarding pass i pay $90 near . Flair airline not good. Without pay no boarding pass.

The flight was smooth, but the seats are not comfortable. I was not able to sleep. The sizes for the personal item and carry-on are way smaller than other airlines.

Leg room was terrible and seats very narrow. Flight was also delayed.

The worst airline experience that I ever had in my life. The fare was cheap but boy do you pay for it when it comes to baggages, carry-ons, food on board and lack of available staff at check-in. Almost every other passenger on my flight had the same complaints and experience. We all bonded discussing our displeasure. My husband and I will definitely not be traveling with Flair Airlines. We'll take anyone else.

The most uncomfortable plane I ever fly on. The seats won't even recline a little. For a 5 hrs flight at night and tired it felt like torture
