SeaTac was a mess first class check-in not clearly identified Temporary signage needed since only one door into Alaska check-in area directed you to coach baggage check.
Boarding was done really poorly. I understand the flight was late but even when the plane arrived they just stood around and didn't streamline the boarding process.
The lateness of the pilots was incredibly disruptive, and we still didn’t take Off very quickly after they arrive
Always delayed, inadequate availability of room for baggage but the crew were good & approachable.
The flight attendants are very friendly and courteous. Excellent service.
This was not an Alaska Airlines flight, it was American Airlines flight operated by SkyWest. The aircraft was narrow body ERJ175. But it is a modern regional jet and relatively comfortable.
I got a round trip ticket from LAX to Omaha, no stops. In the departing and return flights passengers had to take a shuttle from the gate we were told we would board at or (when returning) deplane from. To get to the shuttle there was a flight of stairs to haul our luggage, and when returning we had to all take the same outdoor stairs to get to the actual LAX terminal. For a $600.00 ticket I’d expect better experience, other passengers were saying the same. Also, leaving Omaha we were told there was no space for our carry on luggage for our boarding group, and had to check our bags. When I got on the plane there was room for more luggage in the overhead compartments.
Second flight was in conflict with first flight arrival. I missed second flight. The new flight to my final destination arrive too late to pickup my rental car. I had extra expenses staying a one night in a hotel and taxis.
Was the first time flying Alaska Airlines in several years. The airplane had very obviously diminished seat spacing and the flight was full. Crew was lovely, check in was easy.
The agent was able to get me to LA when i need it. However i need to ask why she charge me 25000 miles for one way to LA. I think she made a mistake. Spirit Airlines only you need 2500miles.
The staff from LAX to New Orleans were rude but the staff from New Orleans to LAX were nice!
Flight delayed. Seat assignment doesn’t get assign until last minute. Seats don’t recline and very stiff
Awful. My flight was three hours late leaving DFW and we just arrived at LAX three hours late and stuck on the runway. I heard the Spirit workers at the desk in DFW say that we were waiting on a crew. I am extremely disappointed in Spirit.
Terrible airline. Cancelled the flight less than 24 hours before the flight. Caused me extra expenses!!! This will be the last time me and my family will travel with them
Very uncomfortable seats that do not recline. My husband had hip replacement 7 years ago; after 5 hours from Maryland to California and another 5 hours back, we had to go to the emergency for the intense pain on his hip joint and soon he will see the surgeon. The cherry on the cake was when at the end of our flight back to BWI, we were prompted by a flight attendant to stretch: "arms right, now left, now reach your toes..." (really? how can we do that as we are sitting on seats with no leg room?) "...and as you are there, pick up any garbage you may see on the floor"!!! wow!
Terrible leg room, seats don’t recline, delayed flight, and even water isn’t free onboard
It was nice! There was a very unhappy child in front of us and the flight attendant did a great job calming the child. I was impressed.
The guy with severe body odor sat next to me. For the whole duration of the flight it was a torture. The airline should have better policy on limiting people with bad body odor to board the flight. Passengers should not be the ones to endure bad odor for the whole duration of the flight. The airline should be e the one to ensure decent air quality for ever passenger.
They charged me 212.00 for a heavy check in bag at the gate. The pricing and process was so confusing - as if it was designed to purposefully gouge customers who need to board plane. That experience combined with the outrageous price charged will prevent me from ever flying Spirit again. And I’ll be sure to tell the story to anyone who cares to hear.
Its so random that they only allow 40 pounds on checked bags when all airlines take 55. They then charge you for each 10 extra pounds, so my checked suitcase was $130 and the flight $30 ... its like whattt, im for sure not traveling with Spirit again
