Our return trips from Lisbon to Vancouver were the worst flights I have EVER been on. Our seats from Frankfurt to Vancouver were most uncomfortable. The 'table ' was not only dirty but broken. My headrest ' support' too was broken, leaving a spot where a broken attachment poked at your head. My food was the worst food I have ever had on any flight. Staff....they all looked and acted as though they hated their jobs!! The Calgary to Vancouver wasnt much better. We had NO services even though we were told of complimentary beverages etc.. That didnt happen. I asked for window seats, assured by the ticket agent I was given a window seat...NOT. Please dont make me go on. Our trip from Vancouver TO Madrid was great......so we were most discouraged at the events of our return trip.
Well considering they didn't transfer our luggage once we arrived in Frankfurt to our Air Canada SUCKS!

This leg was run by United. Food was ok and the regular menu was actually not good ( Hindu meal was fine). Crew was fantastic

POOR- In Belgrade flight was delayed over 2 h, without explanation , no one to ask nor get any info I lost connecting flight in Frankfurt . Awful experience . I’m confident to avoid Lufthansa in the future

Was great little flight. I really enjoyed it. Boarding went smoothly and the whole experience was good.
I personally rather pay a little more for direct or direct layover flights when flying overseas. As in the past, I booked with Lufthansa/Air Canada, with whom I never had a negative experience, and unknowingly ended up with Discover Airlines, “the new leisure airline from the Lufthansa Group” ( as quoted in Lufthansa website). Had to pay extra for check-in luggage (first time ever, flying overseas with Air Canada and/or Lufthansa). Also had to pay for alcoholic beverages ( another first ). Seating was very tight and therefore rather uncomfortable. Entertainment and food was good. For above mentioned reasons, I will try to avoid flying with Discover Airlines in the future.
Generally I think that Lufthansa is an excellent, efficiently run company. On that short trip from Bilbao to Frankfurt there are no pillows and there should be; especially at that early hour. Hence my lower rating on comfort.
