Boarding was efficient. Flight left on time. Wasn’t full so we could spread out a bit. Food was ok.
Horrible. The Athens to London flight was horrible. At some point there was a long piece of toilet paper on the corridor floor for 30min, crew were stepping over it. Only picked up when they rolled out the garbage cart. Not a pleasant site. The whole experience reminded me of easy jet. Not worth the price.
I have something to say about the flight I took from London to Gothenburg, after my flight from Austin to London. I fly a lot and have done so for decades. I first flew to Scandinavia in 1973. My former wife is Norwegian. The main thing was the experience at the Gothenburg airport. Three flights from Britain arrived around the same time. So there were huge lines at immigration since Brits are no longer a part of the EU. After over an hour in line, I finally gave my passport to the immigrations man. You’d have thought I was an Afghan. I just barely got into Sweden. I had to answer all kinds of blunt questions. I had to show all kinds of onward tickets, addresses of places I’d be staying and it was pretty daunting. Perhaps it has to do with the situation with Russia. British Air might have done something to prepare people that things have changed a lot and they’d better be ready to run the gauntlet when trying to get into the country here. The A350 is a great plane but BA's seating was incredibly tight (eg compared to the same plane as flown by BA's partner Finnair) and with a middle seat it was very claustrophobic
The seats in airbus from LA to London are uncomfortable. They are too narrow. I am a slim person but felt cramped. The way the seats are laid out really hinders privacy. You are forced to look at the person next to you which is awkward, Also the entertainment on the same leg was limited. The crew was excellent and attentive and the food was decent. The seats on London to Delhi leg were way better. The crew again was very attentive and polite.
Our headphone plug is broken, we can not enjoy our entertainment, especially traveling with 5 year old who like to watch movie
Although it was an overnight flight, the crew could’ve have made more refreshment passes.
British Airways canceled my flight and I had to fly on Lufthansa the next day. What a garbage airline 🗑️
Staff and crew where very nice and friendly. Just need to improve the timming om the meal and beverages.
