Pros:The Air Transat crew and ground staff at the airports were friendly, considerate, helpful, smiling and excellent representatives of Air Transat. I am a large man, nearly 2 meters tall, with a history of two separate incidents of Deep Vein Thrombosis resulting in Pulmonary Embolisms (documented in a letter from my physician). My medical condition can be exacerbated by reduced circulation due to prolonged periods seated in a confined space, and in a worse case scenario, this can be life threatening. The ground staff and flight attendants listened to this concern, and found seating situations that allowed more leg room in the emergency exit aisle on the flight over from Montreal to Marseille. On the way back, the flight attendants gave that emergency row to other passengers (allowing me to have the three seats behind the emergency row seats, albeit with les leg room, but room to spread out and move my legs). Very kind! and attentive! Food was good, and the offers of food and drink were frequently made.

Cons:Like all planes, I find the seating is too tight for anyone over average size. That said, I think Air Transat's seating is a bit more generous that other airlines.

Cons:The aircraft was crappy and old. The leg room was smaller than normal, timing delayed by hours, no comp given, still all refreshments needed paying for

Pros:Not much, with the exception that they got me to Puerto Plata.

Cons:I paid my flight 426$ on kayak for a one way trip to Puerto Plata. I'm leaving for 5 weeks,therefore I will need some clothes and necessities during my stay. When I get to airport to check my bags at the Air Transat counter, they charge me 300$ for my second suitcase. Normal according to attendant. 15$/kilo over 20 kilos. Nice! 726$ for a one way trip. Crooks with a license.

Pros:Good variety of food and snacks-and free! Long flight with good leg room. Only issue was strike that was taking place that prevented us from disembarking immediately.

Pros:Boarding was good and the crew were helpful/friendly.

Cons:Flight delayed 3 hours. Aisle Seat narrow and was hit a lot every time someone went bye so there was no napping for me however since it was a direct flight and only 3 hours I would take it again. I was glad when we landed.
